Techies 4 Temple Street Dublin ChannelSight is excited to announce their third annual participation as Gold Sponsors at Techies 4 Temple Street. This event will take place in Dublin on the 5th of July 2019. It will be a demonstration of teamwork and a battle of wits to find Ireland's 'Smartest Techie'. Teams of professionals from Ireland's tech and business communities will take over the streets of Dublin. This unique challenge will make an impact on the lives of sick children across Ireland. Supporting Temple Street Hospital is something that is close to our hearts at ChannelSight. As a result we are delighted to be some of the 1600 techies participating in the event this year.
Temple Street is Ireland's leading National Children's Hospital. It provides life changing care to over 148000 patients each year from across the country. Children and their families rely on Temple Street to be there for them when they need it most. Supporting Temple Street Children's University Hospital helps to create an environment where sick kids can just be kids. Moreover the funding raised from Techies 4 Temple Street will be used to finance research redevelop hospital facilities and purchase life saving equipment. A safe environment filled with people who care is exactly what many sick kids and their families need. Grainne a mother who has experienced first hand how literally life saving Temple Street is said Temple Street to me is my comfort blanket. If there is anything going on or if there's something I'm worried about it doesn't matter what it is. I can lift the phone and ring somebody. It's like it is like a second home. Support from the community is what makes this possible. Similarly Alan another parent to a child at Temple Street shared Medical care is part of it but what makes Temple Street stand out is the love they give you. It's the emotional support.
